Drone Imaging Services - Now Available at Crystal Peak Design

Personal drones are no longer a thing of the future. In 2019, the number of small hobbyist drones registered in the United States alone totaled 1.1 million, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Stunning images and video from perspectives unreachable to the average human makes drone footage highly-sought after for businesses looking to expand their customer base.

In addition to traditional photography services, Crystal Peak Design now has the expertise and equipment to deliver 4K resolution video and high-resolution imaging for any application via aerial drone. Whether you are looking for a panoramic, eye-popping video to make your real estate listing shine; need an inspection of a commercial property, bridge, dam or utility line; seeking to show your people in your business in-action; or need a precision agriculture inspection — we have the tools to meet your needs.

The drone market is expected to more than double in the next year, according to the FAA. This means even more businesses will turn to the skies to uniquely represent their business in the marketplace. In 2018, homes that were listed with drone imagery/footage sold 68 percent faster than homes that did not. Consumers want it “all” and increasingly that includes drone footage.

But drones aren’t just good for pretty pictures and interesting videos. According to the DroneDeploy’s 2018 Commercial Drone Industry Trends report, the use of drones has shown a 55 percent increase in safety on construction sites; can cover up to 1,000 of farmland acres a day for inspection and has resulted in a 98 percent cut in surveying time for property. This can save you time and reduce the number of work-related injuries — which will save you a lot of money in the long run.

Not all drone owners are the same. Most drone “pilots” have not been formally trained to fly their equipment and have not passed the FAA exam to be an official Remote Pilot. This means they’re often not aware of the laws and regulations related to flying drones in a safe and effective manner. This is a major liability for them and can become a liability for you, should you choose to work with an untrained operator.

When you work with Crystal Peak Design, you can rest assured that their drone is registered with the FAA and their pilot, Susanne Arens, has her FAA Remote Pilot certificate. Every two years, Susanne retests to keep her drone pilot’s certificate “current.” This ensures that she’s up-to-date on the latest laws, regulations and continues to hone her skills.

Whether you’re looking to visually attract new customers to your business or safely conduct routine procedures, our FAA-licensed UAS operator will collaborate with you to safely and legally gather stunning aerial content tailored to meet the needs of your project.
